Live in Gratitude

I often feel the stresses of life just as all of you do. In my life I take time each morning to reflect on my day and appreciate the joy that can be associated with each.

A local nurse named Diane Sieg came up with this handy tool to start your day off right.
First thing in the morning after a quick bathroom break.
5 Minutes of reflection on the day to come.
5 Minutes of Praniama breathing (Alternate nostril breathing)
10 Minutes of Yoga
5 Minutes of Meditation
5 Minutes of Journaling

At first when I began this daily routine, I was met with the stress of time. When is the 5 minutes up? Am I going to be late getting to work? Did I give myself enough time? Do I have enough time for this?

After bringing this up in a NET session, days later, my affliction with time was no longer present.

Several other stresses presented themselves to me during this process, and with a little NET, I have overcome many of them.

Recently I have noticed that my 5 minutes of reflection is actually exciting. Praniama breathing feels invigorating. Yoga feels soooooo good just to get moving and wake up. The meditation is some of the deepest rest I experience. And best of all, Journaling has allowed my to be thankful, and connect to this world in a very relaxed demeanor.

Thanks Diane!

Love,
Dr. John
