In my mailbox this week I received a monthly newsletter of the Communicable Disease Division of Boulder County titled "EPI Connections" from August/September 2009 (click to download a .pdf of this newsletter). Already this thing sounds like a conspiracy, some underground government division created for our "protection." The main article for this month's newsletter is about the H1N1 Vaccination Recommendations. The article presents concern of the Boulder County Public Health Department for our local population against the flu.
I have one thought (maybe more) to reply to this article. I think Vaccinations were great, 100 years ago. My question to YOU is, if our health care is soooo great and vaccinations are sooo good for us, why are we continually getting more sick? Is it these Super Viruses? If so, where did they come from? Is it our bodies' defense mechanisms? If so, why are they down?
Super Viruses like MRSA, were created because LIFE adapts and changes to the environment, ALL LIFE, whether it's a virus, bacteria, mice, monkeys or humans. We are all made of cells which change and adapt to an ever-changing environment, homeostasis. It's no wonder we have Super Viruses like MRSA-- it's simply a virus adapting to the super toxic drugs created to destroy them. The problem rests in OUR BODIES' ability to REGULATE and support healthy physiolocy (function). As for OUR bodies defense mechanisms, they are down because we are not giving OUR BODY the proper BUILDING BLOCKS.
The "EPI Connections" article places an urgency on children and young adults to receive vaccines. If we look at the status of this population, generally we see lower income and therefore have poorer nutrition and less supportive health care. As a society we are ingesting more sugar then ever before, approximately 160 pounds per year and an extra 24 pounds of artificial sweeteners. This is the average "healthy American diet", a fun acronym for our diet is SAD (Standard American Diet). It truly is SAD! There is a great article that describes how the immune system becomes down regulated from sugar and why we need to STOP.
Please THINK about vaccinations and check out their negative effects before taking your health for granted. I recommend the book titled Vaccination: Examining the Record by Judith De Cava. It is a fantastic book, easy to read and will change the way you think about vaccinations.

Stress Reduction - Two techniques
Stress is part of a conditioned negative pattern in the brain. Several things contribute to negative sympathetic stress:
1. Trauma, Pain
2. Negative thoughts, emotions
3. Toxins
4. Lack of movement, exercise
5. Sugar
The following are two of the many ways you can reduce your stress levels.
1. NET (Neuro-Emotional Technique)
NET provides a fast, effective means of stopping the negative conditioned pattern. Computer-drafted SPECT scans that measure metabolic activity, show a 50% or greater reduction of metabolic activity of the areas of brain associated with stress within minutes after a Neuro-Emotional Component clearing.
2. Breathing Techniques
Yogi breathing - by concentrating on the breath and calming the mind to focus on slow rhythmic breathing, you allow your body the opportunity to reset the stress patterns in the brain.
Cover left nostril, breathe in through the right, cover the opposite and breathe out through the left. Then breathe in through the left and out through the right. Continue this for 3-5 minutes with long slow deep breaths.
If you ever find yourself feeling isolated or stuck at the bottom of a pit or feeling that the world is against you, call out for help. Sometimes we just need a hand to get us back up on our feet.

Simple Facts with Dr. John
What would happen if we never took the trash out of the house? Would you be able to live amongst the garbage piling up over the course of a week? A month? How about a whole year? In our current era, we live in a world of pollution, pesticides in our non-organic foods, synthetic chemicals in our water supply, and even our bodies’ own waste, all of which pile up like garbage in our personal “homes”, our physical bodies. If we don't take out the garbage then we have to live amongst it. Imagine a house filled with garbage. What kind of disgusting, rotting things would you find over a year? Now imagine our bodies housing the same rotting materials. WAKE UP! This is exactly what is happening. Disease doesn't just happen, it's created.
